Reliable Life Expectancies at a Lower Cost

IBU is now calculating all LE's and Quick Quote Life Expectancies using the mortality tables from the 2008 VBT. Quick Quote LE's will continue to display a shorter mortality table along with the longer table from the 2008 VBT.

The Quick Quote LE continues to gain popularity as an inexpensive, quick way to predict LE's. Given the time and expense involved in getting LE's, the IBU Quick Quote LE offers a valuable screening tool.

Users of Quick Quote LE's are primarily current IBU customers. For a small fee they receive two LE's based on an IBU case summary. The first LE generated uses an aggressive or shorter morality table while the second LE uses the table from the 2008 VBT.

IBU clients can pick and choose when to order the Quick Quote LE by simply entering the age, sex and smoking status of the insured. Non IBU clients can also obtain Quick Quote LE's by submitting a summary of the medical history of the insured.
